Background & History

Josh Greenberg is Of Counsel to Frost Law, where he contributes his deep litigation experience to the firm’s growing white-collar defense and civil litigation practice. He represents individuals and businesses in complex matters involving health care fraud, public corruption, and financial crimes, as well as in major civil disputes. His recent victories include dismissals in high-profile federal cases and multimillion-dollar recoveries in civil RICO and contract claims.

Josh often represents health care providers and others in government investigations and prosecutions led by the DOJ, HHS, and state agencies. He also leads complex civil cases involving large-scale discovery and parallel proceedings. Known for his strategic and selective approach, he takes on a limited number of matters to provide clients with focused, hands-on representation.

Before founding his own firm, Josh practiced at Covington & Burling and Womble Carlyle in D.C., clerked for Judge Thomas Ambro on the Third Circuit, and graduated with honors from Stanford Law School. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary society limited to one percent of attorneys licensed in the U.S. who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the profession and service to society. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and numerous federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

When you are having an issue with the IRS, you need professional help to communicate with the right person within the IRS that can help you with your situation. Unfortunately I was not able to find that person and my situation continued to drag on for months. I would communicate by letter and also attempted to use the phone but to no avail. The IRS did not quit working my case and their letters indicated they were getting stronger in demands.

I found Frost Law Firm paid a reasonable retainer, and they were working my case within days. I was very impressed with their contacts within the IRS and how they represented me. Lauren Mata was my attorney and she was very diligent, great at follow up and did everything she said she would do.

My case was settled not long ago, to my benefit as we were able to prove that our position was correct. Whereas I did not have the credibility with the IRS, Frost and Lauren Mata did. I believe I received good value for what I was charged.

Very responsive and easy to talk. Good results.

We’ve started working with Frost Tax Law on our ERC claim that had stalled and was getting extremely frustrated with working with (or dealing with) the IRS. He was able to expedite a quick response as well as getting our claims approved and paid when I was barely able to get a response from the IRS. Highly recommend

Frost Law conducted a webinar that high-lighted the anticipated changes of the pending Tax legislation. It's a murky situation so their insights were very helpful.

Frost Law has genuine people who really want to help! They listened to my needs and took their time to review all of my questions and put me at ease with my case. In short, they care!

Frost Law has a great team assembled with expertise in most any issue you may face.

I contacted 6 law firms. Out of 6, I talked to 4 over the phone and 2 over email. Frost & associates, was the only one that listened closely, asked the appropriate questions during the consultation phase. Others were rushing, non attentive, and almost dismissive. Frost was the only one that made me felt heard and assured. After I decided to go with Frost, they were on top of everything, every single step of the way. Kept me in the loop, provided me with case updates regularly. They got my case dismissed before it even went to hearing.

Special Shout out to Nick Berger for doing an amazing job.

If I could, I would give them 10 stars out of 5.
