Alyssa Maloof Whatley joins Frost Law as the Director of Tax Controversy (Domestic), bringing a wealth of experience and a client-centered approach to resolving complex tax matters. As an experienced tax lawyer with a proven track record to reduce tax liability, Alyssa is a fierce advocate dedicated to navigating the intricacies of the IRS. Her background, from working in her family's small business to assisting a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, has provided her with a unique and comprehensive understanding of financial challenges from multiple perspectives.

Her approach to tax resolution is built on a foundation of honest and straightforward representation, ensuring clients are empowered through clear communication and education. Alyssa believes in crafting tailored, creative solutions for each unique tax problem, from handling an IRS audit to negotiating settlements, rejecting a one-size-fits-all mentality. Before joining Frost Law, Alyssa founded her own successful law firm, driven by a desire to help people on a more personal and impactful level. A graduate of Georgia State University School of Law, she has dedicated her career to tax litigation, establishing herself as a trusted tax lawyer helping individuals and businesses resolve issues with back taxes to achieve financial peace of mind.
