Tina Azarvand initially joined Frost Law as a Law Clerk in May 2019 and later transitioned to an Attorney in December 2020 after being admitted to the Maryland Bar.
During her time in law school, Tina worked as a Student Attorney and Law Clerk with the University of Baltimore Tax Clinic. Before working with the University of Baltimore Tax Clinic, Tina completed both an internship and an externship with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) Tax Clinic. Tina also gained valuable experience volunteering with the Maryland CASH Campaign in her downtime during law school, where she provided free tax return preparation under the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
In addition to her experience with the Tax Clinics and CASH Campaign, Tina represented her law school as both a Representative and Ambassador of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) from May 2018 until May 2019. She was also the American Bar Association (ABA) Representative and Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) Representative from May 2019 until graduating in May 2020. While working with MHEC, Tina chaired MHEC’s first Tax Committee, which served to advocate for state income tax reform as it relates to students pursuing higher education in the state of Maryland.
Tina is currently pursuing her Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Baltimore, with an anticipated completion date of May 2022.
