Mary joined Frost Law in 2025 as a Law Clerk. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2017. After gaining valuable corporate experience, she pursued her J.D. at The University of North Carolina School of Law, where she is expected to graduate in 2026. At UNC, Mary serves as a Symposium Editor of The North Carolina Law Review, the school's flagship law journal, and is preparing to publish a forthcoming law review article titled Extending Jarkesy: The Seventh Amendment Right to a Jury Trial in Civil Tax Fraud Cases, from the IRS to NCDOR. In addition to her editorial work, Mary distinguished herself in advocacy as a Regional Champion in the 2025 American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition, advancing to the Nationals.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Mary is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She previously served as the President of the Christian Legal Society and is currently on the board as the Director of Communications and Outreach. Her leadership further extends to other organizations, including her service as the Director of Marketing for the Transactional and Corporate Law Association and her active involvement with the Asian American Law Students Association. Mary also dedicated her time to various pro bono initiatives, reflecting her commitment to service in both the legal field and the broader community.
