Background & History

Zoha is an associate attorney in our Tax Controversy departments. Zoha works across the majority of tax controversy areas, such as collection enforcement defense, penalty abatements, employment taxes, trust fund recovery penalty, innocent spouse claims, sales and use tax, and federal and state audits. Additionally, Zoha assists clients in international tax matters. She helps her clients achieve compliance with the use of voluntary disclosures and streamlined filing compliance procedure programs. Zoha oversees financial accounts and pension systems reporting in a number of foreign jurisdictions including South Africa, Argentina, Trinidad, and the United Kingdom.


Zoha earned her L.L.M. in Tax Law at the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. During her time in law school, Zoha worked as a Student Attorney and Law Clerk at the University of San Diego Federal Tax Clinic where she completed over 100 hours of pro bono service and provided free independent legal representation to taxpayers in disputes with Internal Revenue Service. After graduating from University of San Diego School of Law, Zoha worked at a boutique law firm in San Diego. There she assisted Individuals and small businesses in navigating the complexities of the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
