Rebecca Sheppard, Esq. is a tax attorney and Partner in the tax advisory practice group at Frost Law. She also is the Co Chair of the Pro Bono Committee alongside Partner, Kaitlyn Loughner, Esq., CPA. Over the last two years, Rebecca has used her background in government practice to work with business clients across the country in helping them secure government funding from PPP, EIDL, and the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). Her efforts have allowed her to recover significant refunds for many small and medium-sized businesses around the country.

Rebecca previously worked for the Comptroller of Maryland as a tax attorney in the Hearings and Appeals Section. She conducted administrative hearings, issued binding legal determinations, and negotiated settlement agreements on behalf of the Comptroller of Maryland. Rebecca’s experience both in government and private practice allows her to effectively navigate how businesses can best make tax law work in their favor.

A colleague referred me to Rebecca Sheppard and her team at Frost Law to assist us with our ERC claims. While they were not in our community, Rebecca and her team were better than advertised and really went out of their way to help us find a positive resolution to our claims.

She and her team always listened, were responsive to my questions, and clear in what they needed from our organization, to successfully resolve our claims.

Client testimonials

Extremely professional and helpful. They seem to be incredibly well-staffed, and everyone I spoke to was very pleasant. The services I needed were outside of my price range, but I have no doubt that they deserve what they charge.

Zachary P.

Very communicative and no use of "legaleze" to describe tax situations/complexities!

Keith M.

We’ve started working with Frost Tax Law on our ERC claim that had stalled and was getting extremely frustrated with working with (or dealing with) the IRS. He was able to expedite a quick response as well as getting our claims approved and paid when I was barely able to get a response from the IRS. Highly recommend

Well done presentation!
