What is “Seriously Delinquent Tax Burden”?
“Seriously delinquent tax burden” is an unpaid, legally enforceable federal tax burden totaling more than $52,000. If you meet these criteria, the IRS now has the authorization to take action, working with the State Department, to deny or delay your passport application.
