Background & History

Abigail was born in Orlando, Florida and moved to Potomac, Maryland as a child. She decided to stay local and attend the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree. Abigail currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia, while attending law school. At school, she is one of the four Vice Presidents for the Student Bar Association and is also currently writing a journal article about social media's impact on fast-fashion, for CUA's Journal of Law and Technology. Some of her hobbies include baking, running (she recently finished her first race in May: the Philadelphia Broad Street 10 Miler), and reading.

This past summer Abigail interned with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani and was able to gain experience writing various motions and appeals. Additionally, she sat in on depositions and client meetings. While working at the firm, she was also working part-time for her family's business: Nova Exteriors, Inc. Abigail was able to perform legal research for compliance questions and disputes. During her undergraduate career, she worked as the Accounting Manager for a small, government contracting firm, Sam Inc. Within this role, she processed payroll, accounts receivables, and accounts payables.
