Laura Davies is an Associate Attorney at Taylor Legal and a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She completed the Intellectual Property Track, gaining direct experience serving entrepreneurs and small businesses as a student trademark and copyright attorney in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic.
Prior to attending law school, Laura spent 12 years as an Exercise Physiologist in academic and clinical settings, with a primary focus in cardiology. Her clinical role required attention to detail and effective communication of complex medical terms to patients, skills that prepared her well for the legal field. Laura's experience also includes evaluating and onboarding innovative medical devices, sparking her interest in intellectual property.
